I didn’t know these IUD were still in use. I used just such a device for about five years during my mid-twenties. I had it removed in order to become pregnant which I then proceeded to do after about six months. I suffered a lot of Ill health in the years following which I won’t explain in detail here. Thank you very much for this information about copper toxicity. Although decades have since passed since this lengthy episode, I am still trying to heal and bring my body back into a proper balance. May we all regenerate together and bring about a flourishing world. May everything be auspicious !

Ah wow! Thank you for sharing, Margaret, this is a lot to go through! I definitely recommend reading my post about healing PMS and PMDD with Bean Protocol, which I talk about how I healed my body and spirit after having the IUD!:)

I found and read with interest your post on detoxing from copper toxicity and the bean protocol. I totally agree with what you put together and in fact much of what you recommend I too have discovered and practiced with benefit over the years. I’m now 78 years old and the IUD episode happened to me 50 years ago. I’ve had a very lengthy healing journey and I’m still working on it — believe it or not. Some wounds go very deep. As you may have guessed, the IUD was only one part of the perfect storm which engulfed me and caused so much damage at the time. I very much appreciate the writing you do on Substack. You are a new and welcome voice. I wish you all the best and much success.

Thank you Margaret, your story means a lot to me. So many women go through the healing alone, and I believe that sharing our stories can add to alleviation of the pain of others. I agree that IUD is usually sort of a symptom of disconnection from ourselves. Thank you for your beautiful wishes as well ❤️

Love the idea of seeing our bodies as archeological sites, and this profound and necessary reflection and paragon between our human bodies and the earth's body. Seeing the earth as a body made me think of its mind and soul, as ours. The "madness" of its expression - ferocious floods, huricanes, hearthquakes - being potential expressions of confusion, disappointment, and ultimately transformation. Troublesome symptoms of a much needed transformation. Thank you so much for sharing those reflections, with such a beautiful blend of knowledges and disciplines and those images 💛

💛 the earth is refusing to heal back into a system that disregards and betrays her soul values of care, kindness, nourishment and reciprocity
